If the pending transaction is returned as not found from the processor, it is marked as such in MaxxTraxx and the new credit card payment is processed normally.

New Feature - MaxxTraxx now tries to start MS SQL Server if it's not running. Often MS SQL Server has been shut down by either a Microsoft Update or an Anti-Virus Update that has run overnight. When this happens, MaxxTraxx can't be started because the underlying Database functionality that MaxxTraxx uses has been turned off. In the past this would show an "unable to access database" error or something similar. Now, MaxxTraxx will attempt to start MS SQL Server for you without intervention by our support department and save you having to make a call to us. This might take a minute or more, so please be patient. If you are trying to start MaxxTraxx from a workstation instead of the server and this error comes up, MaxxTraxx will instruct you to go to the server and start MaxxTraxx from there. In most cases this will fix the problem caused by the Microsoft or Anti-Virus update.

New Feature - Redesigned, upgraded and renamed Checklists to Digital Visual Inspections. This is a feature that MaxxTraxx has always had but had not been updated to present day standards. We have expanded notes on each item, colorization of passed and failed items, enabled emailing of DVI's to the customer and/or include them with the printout of the RO. There also is a new functionality that tracks failed inspection items and alerts the Service Writer on the Schedule screen after the technician submits the DVI to MaxxTraxx. The Service Writer now has the ability to print the DVI or just the Failed DVI items for the customer to see. The new DVI works on all Microsoft computers, laptops and tablets. It will also work on all MaxxTraxx Anywhere workstations or tablets. A coming feature will be the ability to add labors, parts and notes directly to the RO by the Technician and give the ability to take photos and add them to the DVI. Currently, all photos are limited to being added to the RO by the Technician with the use of the MaxxTech Android app. In the future, MaxxTech will be integrated into the DVI module.

Also, Mitchell does not have a VIN decoder for commercial vehicles, they only use year, make and model (not engine). The descriptions they use do not always match ACES either. If the year/make/model in the MaxxTraxx record does not match, the user will be shown a window of Mitchell vehicles to choose from. Once they choose the vehicle and bring an item back to the RO, it is stored inside the vehicle record so they don't have to select the vehicle again.

New Feature - Added ability to refund a customer's credit card through 360 Payments and eConduit without having the card present. A/R refunds that know the original credit card information (voided RO's) will use the card information from the original transaction. Stand alone refunds (RO's with a negative amount, or A/R refunds where the RO was not originally paid with credit card) will present the user with a list of previous credit card charges for the customer and let them choose to refund to the card used on one of those payments. The list shows the invoice number, date paid, credit card name (visa, etc), last 4 digits of the credit card and expiration date so they can make their choice. Optionally, the user can also choose to swipe or enter the card number manually if they are not refunding to a card used on a previous transaction. If there are no previous credit card charges to choose from, it takes them directly to asking for the card to be swiped or manually typed in.

When you choose to save and print, there is an option to request a signature that appears on the window where you choose to print or email the invoice.
